I have been part of the school for 13 years and continue to enjoy leading the school to be the best we can be, providing a nurturing environment while striving for excellence in all areas.  I am proud of the wonderful learning community we have built.

I am the Assistant Principal of this wonderful school. I absolutely love working here. We have such a dedicated staff, awesome students and very supportive parents. I love the culture that exists at Billanook and the community feel. I am very lucky to be a leader of such a great school!

I have worked at Billanook for many years. I absolutely love this school. My own child came here as a student and I have worked here ever since. I feel very lucky to work up in the front office and deal with such lovely students and parents every day!

I feel very privileged to be a teacher at Billanook PS. It is a great school. I have worked here in Level 2 and am currently one of the Foundation teachers. We work extremely well as a team and do our absolute best to provide our little treasures with the best possible start to the schooling. Foundation is such a fun area to work and I am super proud of the little people I get to be with every day!

Teaching Level 1 is extremely rewarding as I witness students experiencing growth- both personally and academically. My classroom is a fun, safe and supportive place to learn where all students feel that they belong. We strive to think positively and are willing to ‘have a go’ as we understand that we learn from our mistakes. When I am not at school, I enjoy taking my two dogs for a walk with my husband and relaxing on the beach reading a good book.

I am a Level 1 teacher at Billanook Primary school and love being a part of the school community.
I aim to create an inclusive and warm learning environment for all of my students, where they all feel welcome to express their ideas.
I enjoy road trips to the beach and camping on the Murray River.

Teaching is a great passion of mine and something I wouldn’t change. I enjoy journeying alongside each student, in the year I have with them, and assisting them to be the best person they can be. My role is to help students think critically, be creative, solve problems, take risks in their learning, and help them to expand their mind and grow as individuals.

Teaching Grade 2 at Billanook Primary is very rewarding and it’s my aim to create a learning environment which is welcoming, supportive and encourages growth within the students learning and personal confidence. Away from school, I love spending time with my family, going to the movies and travelling.

I love working at Billanook because of the amazing scenery, community feel and polite and friendly students. The school motto ‘believe in yourself’ is something I live by, I’m lucky enough to be a role model and help students to be their best. Outside of school, I’m a dancer and I love sharing this skill with my students. Level 3 is so much fun, the students become confident in themselves and their ability.

I am a Level 5 teacher and Leading Teacher here at Billanook Primary School. I believe in creating a learning environment where all students can learn and grow. As a lifelong learner, I am extremely passionate about developing that love of learning in my students and take great pride in watching my students become responsible, helpful and respectful citizens.

Billanook was the Primary School I attended as a child and now work for as a teacher. It is a special place where students are celebrated for their individual strengths and are fostered in a safe environment. As a teacher, and also a mum, I am incredibly proud to work at a school where I know that the students are the number one priority and where their wellbeing is prioritised. When I am not teaching at the foot of beautiful Mount Dandenong you can find me along the Yarra River or at the beach.

Teaching Performing Arts at Billanook is a joy. I love teaching music to kids and seeing them develop over the years. We have a whole school production here every second year. It is a massive production and an outstanding show. This provides the students with an excellent opportunity to be involved in a production and I just love seeing their little faces when it’s their turn to shine.

I enjoy supporting Students with Disabilities and other students within the school. The school has a great team that work together. The students enjoy having the Library open on a Monday at lunchtime were they can read their favorite book, draw pictures and relax.
